Mind & Body.. a food for both!! Exercise & play: do both!!

With advent of technology, the human brain needs numerous inputs nowadays; increasing inclination to learn and do more has reduced the actual physical play time. This is a growing concern of the new generation. Besides, decreasing availability of open spaces in close vicinity, rising number of nuclear families with just one child approach has added to decline in group activities.

Ahmedabad gets a solution for all the above challenges. Gambol, it is an indoor sports retail outlet plus a gaming zone where the genX gets the platform for all their developmental needs, be it physical, cognitive or mental. So exercise along with learning can happen simultaneously.

The integrated approach of learning and exercising is through their Simulators. The LU interactive playground, a full wall simulator is developed for age group of six to fourteen, where they can learn various subjects through an interactive real-time playground. Be it math, geography or English.. all are simplified where 8 to 16 players can go at a time with a weatherproof gaming.

Yet another simulation based iWall designed for all age groups, where it meant for just exercising and gaming, with improved focus and muscular control. These platforms are a boon where one does not have to care for heat, rain or weather conditions as Gambol is spread over a sprawling 18000 square feet; giving enough room for group activities and cycling too.

Children can also take up membership for various indoor games like pool and table tennis.

There is another simulation wall and a setup for Golf lovers and cricket lovers; to be hands-on; on their favourite sport.. that too weather-proof.

Neel Shah, Founder and CEO of Gambol – Let’s spot a sport in you, commented, “Being a sports enthusiast, I am very happy to open this first experience showroom in India. Besides just gaming, we have product range above 100 brands in all segments of sports. Besides just being into retail, we also will focus on training and workshops so that we can sensitize the new generation about the importance of sports in our lives.”

Gambol was inaugurated on 12th August 2018. The store is located on science city road.

This was mentioned in a book reading session by Sharbari Zohra Ahmed, in her Debut Novel,   "Dust under her feet!" The  Quantico  scriptwriter moves from an International thriller, expressing a high voltage drama series for Hollywood and now back into the 1940s, where her story revolves around Yasmine Khan, the protagonist. Sharbari expresses that it was probably Yasmine Khan, the focal point chose her, cause while writing the fiction,  she could clearly go back into times and see the visuals of the yesteryears when World War II had set in.. There is a lot which Sharbari has contributed into this novel, above her body mind and soul.. fifteen years have gone into crafting the epic! What beyond? The Author has actually gone to the libraries of Kolkata, dug out their archival section, newspapers, magazines, hu...
