Chiseled Look

Doing Makeup had always been part of me... rather I would say a God Gifted talent which I had been practicing continuously back stage since years, saving on costs while doing shoots as a part of my Public Relations profile. Finally getting an International certification as a makeup artist was THE real feather on my cap. To actually give it solid grounds to take off and start afresh commercially. Having specialised in EDITORIAL and FASHION MAKE-UP, started with Chennai. Editorial and Fashion Makeup was specific because, I realized there is a growing trend of every person like diamonds .. owning and flaunting a portfolio which is a long lasting memory. Pre-Wedding shoots, Baby showers, Mehandi , Roka, Beach parties etc etc. So it is extremely essential that for such memories, our best features need to be highlighted. Sizzling Summer Saturday

AHMEDABAD After Good Friday arrives another special weekend.. Saturday. On a sizzling summer afternoon where I couldn't opt for a stroll but yet went out to explore.... What?.. Let's read and see for ourselves. I landed at Huber and Holly on Pakwaan cross roads, a newly opened food joint where I discovered bomb shells and blockbusters... You must be wondering what are these? Names of ice cream deserts. I decided to try a Blockbuster, something similar to a choco bar but with a thick chocolate coat and one can choose upon various toppings or flavors to get an extra zing. I chose pistachios and rose petals, a very unique combo. Exploration... What I mentioned earlier. I landed on my next stop at Galaxy Bazaar, Sunrise Park. Hopping in and out of various shops, I reached Hoglato. This is a unique confectionery shop where you get exquisite chocolates ranging from liquor filled to various other concoctions. Not just a beat...

Not just a Beat... sync of many such.. Heart is made of muscle, valves, blood, capillaries and LOVE of course. But this Heart :beat has gathered pearls from various arenas of life and put together beautifully in a string  to present Warli project.  “Warli project : Heartbeat” is an exhibition showcasing tribal art from Palghar dist of Maharashtra. Heart: Beat is name of a residency that was formed in Maharashtra where a group of eminent artists from UK and India stayed for two weeks and worked with a multi disciplinary team comprising of craftspeople, ceramic artists, designers, sculptors, film maker, musician, architects and Warli artists of course who did their research on the theme ‘change’  that has seeped in after urbanisation. The same theme is exhibited at Kanoria. This tribal art mostly portrays a typical village life.
