Macadamia to Mascarpone & Wasabi to Dates.. all in frozen dessert delights...

Creation of food is an amalgamation of art, combinations of taste, food materials infused in together.. but needs lot of knowledge, experimentation and research too, as various food categories cannot be combined together or some even if combined don’t taste great or react well, but this challenge has been taken up well by Pabria’s, a transformed version of Tullika ice-creams which has been put back on feet with a more robust plan, strategy and innovative approach. Pabrai’s – Fresh and Naturelle is again a Kolkata based 30 year old family brand which has franchisee presence in Ahmedabad, at Vastrapur Lake.

90% of the ice-creams at Pabrai’s – Fresh and Naturelle retain absolutely original flavours of fruits, nuts, flowers, spices or any other essential extracts. They use the best of ingredients which impart original taste to the favourite dessert of Amdavadi’s; be it a basic vanilla ice cream or a lemon grass both have natural pods and leaves present. The USP of Pabrai’s is that they don’t use synthetic flavours or essences, and take extra efforts to retain natural flavour.

Pabrai’s – Fresh and Naturelle have categorised their range of ice-creams into cuisine based ice-creams, which are gaining popularity in known hotel chains and in theme based parties. They have been divided into Chinese, Indian, Japanese, Italian and other International flavours.

The most popular and unique assortment which they have is of Matcha Green Tea, Wasabi, Chandan, Musk melon, Black sesame, Mascaparone Cheese with candied fruits, Date palm Jaggery, Rose petals, Lemon grass, Chickoo, Freshly brewed South Indian Coffee etc.

In Vanilla they use three varieties of Vanilla pods to give original and best combination. Rose ice cream is made of Damascus rose petals which are internationally known for their aroma and cooling properties...but Nalen Gur , desi version made of jaggery tops the list!!

Pabrais brand is run in Ahmedabad by Puvi Enterprises Pvt. Ltd owned by Purvi Kotak, the  franchisee owners are hand picked, those who can understand the essence, hard work and thought process put in behind the delicate ensemble.

One factor which impressed me is that the counter staff is well informed and trained about the kind of ingredients and efforts that have gone in creating each of the ice- cream flavours..

So what is the wait for.. and I am sure you will not just grab one!!

"Wife or a Whore?" Or Dust under her feet!

Lets change the narrative.. the perspective and positioning !! Well, this is one statement which after a certain age applies to women.. pls note the word "AGE"!! This was mentioned in a book reading session by Sharbari Zohra Ahmed, in her Debut Novel,   "Dust under her feet!" The  Quantico  scriptwriter moves from an International thriller, expressing a high voltage drama series for Hollywood and now back into the 1940s, where her story revolves around Yasmine Khan, the protagonist. Sharbari expresses that it was probably Yasmine Khan, the focal point chose her, cause while writing the fiction,  she could clearly go back into times and see the visuals of the yesteryears when World War II had set in.. There is a lot which Sharbari has contributed into this novel, above her body mind and soul.. fifteen years have gone into crafting the epic! What beyond? The Author has actually gone to the libraries of Kolkata, dug out their archival section, newspapers, magazines, hu...
