dhushkas, poha jalebi and dal bafla
On the vegetarian side I tasted Litti Chokkha from Bihar served with Baigan bhartha and mashed potatoes with punch of raw mustard oil, Samosa chat of Indore, assorted kebab platter, Pakoras, Kachori chaat from Uttar Pradesh... for enthusiasts there are puchkas (paani puri), dhuchkas and poha jalebi – mix of sweet savoury.

kachori chaat and samosa chaat
For Non- vegetarian lovers there is a variety of kebabs, both chicken and mutton. Above all this they have sourced Rohu fish from fresh Gangetic waters.

Chatori Gali ka Paya Soup with all essential extracts of spices and Hare matar ka shorba were the soup varieties for the day.

Main course serves an array of dishes... Murg Mussalam, Tandoori Murg biryani, Rohu Machhali ka Jhol, Bihari Kadi Pakora, Bharwa baingan ke longe, Rugra mushroom, Indori Garadu, Makuni paratha, chana dal paratha etc.

Apart from the salads, tomato murraba is a desi accompaniment.. must try. This is made by almost all the house-holds during peak summer season in order to boost up potassium and other drained salts from body.

Having a sweet tooth, I loved coconut burfi or khopra pak and till ladoos.

So head on, indulge, click and post on your social media..

"Wife or a Whore?" Or Dust under her feet!

Lets change the narrative.. the perspective and positioning !! Well, this is one statement which after a certain age applies to women.. pls note the word "AGE"!! This was mentioned in a book reading session by Sharbari Zohra Ahmed, in her Debut Novel,   "Dust under her feet!" The  Quantico  scriptwriter moves from an International thriller, expressing a high voltage drama series for Hollywood and now back into the 1940s, where her story revolves around Yasmine Khan, the protagonist. Sharbari expresses that it was probably Yasmine Khan, the focal point chose her, cause while writing the fiction,  she could clearly go back into times and see the visuals of the yesteryears when World War II had set in.. There is a lot which Sharbari has contributed into this novel, above her body mind and soul.. fifteen years have gone into crafting the epic! What beyond? The Author has actually gone to the libraries of Kolkata, dug out their archival section, newspapers, magazines, hu...
