First eat then pray and love will follow...

"पहले पंगत फिर संगत".. These lines are strongly etched in Gurbani, which means when a pilgrim arrives in a Gurudwara (house of guru, our eternal guide), the person must eat first, eat in a place where no one asks you about your religion, background or doesn't count on how much you eat... Countless, infinite अटूट is the word which flows in langar halls of gurudwaras.

Similar scenario today can be witnessed at Riverfront near NID at Ahmedabad where thousands of men have been deployed to do langar sewa i. e. Cooking and serving food for the house of Guru. 75 cooks or 'langari' from Punjab have come with 200 sewadars and 1000 'sewadars' volunteers from various other places to offer service in countless moving or swapping numbers.

Countless is the continuous term that is witnessed at places that have Guru Kripa and this day of 11th June 2017 at Ahmedabad is dedicated to celebrate 350th bith year of Guru Gobind Singh Ji.. The eternal name.

Impeccable, infinite with innumelrable flow of people, service men, offerings...

After eating is pray zone, the main sanctum or Darbar hall created can hold upto 15000 devotees. At the Darbar hall continuous 'kirtan' i. e singing hyms from Guru Grath goes on... And what then one can experience or witness.. Falling in love with the creator and His creation. Let me reiterate.. Even here no caste or creed or background is questioned.. Only pure love from the creator flows....

"एक नूर ते सब जग उपजीआ, कौन भले कौ मंदे"  from one light all emerge, then who is good and who is bad...

All the sewa and service today is done under guidance of Baba Lakha Singhji. There are two huge tents constructed for langar ie food and snacks; three for "chabeel" serving cold milk, buttermilk etc.. Various for water.

Apart from this there is a camp where volunteers are coming forward to donate blood. There are electric rickshaws to help old and children to commute from the main entrance to the sanctum. Inside the sanctum there is wheel chair service to help senior citizens or ones facing physical challenge to reach out to Guru Granth Sahib...

Gujarat Tourism Corporation Ltd. has been a major support to conduct these activities. On a concluding note, Baba Lakhaji mentiond in order to spread message of peace, "humility and politeness are key qualities of a human, the more you have the more you succeed and if any one gets angry at you or misbehaves... Just fold your hands and move forward.. Bless him".

The Kastoori of Agriculture and it's women

Saturday 22nd June 2019: Agriculture, call it a tradition, an occupation or being part of the nature and our existence with it!! Just like Kastoori or the musk is within the deer, but it keeps hunting outside, similar is with our Agriculture sector. It had always been our primary resource, but we complicated the same hunting outside, making farmers dependant on complex and manipulative processes. We all know that various climatic and financial factors with overburdened chemical dependency has made this sector gloomy, turning down into a compounded cyclical process which has now started affecting the urban too; giving the realisation to human race now to bridge the gap between the two. Farmer suicides and pesticides in food chain with increase in cancer cases is just the tip of the iceberg. Purvi Vyas, Mentor WGWLO & Babita Jain Chair person FLO With such an initiative Ficci FLO Ahmedabad on 21st June, organised an event Coordinated by Shilpa patel , Kinnery Sh
