I am the Light.. I am the strength!! Aham brahmasmi.. I am the Universe!!

Yes I am a woman
Yes I am a woman..

chosen to arrive on this planet
To live a happy life
Full of joy and light
A voyager for few years
To share and care..
Give and take..

I am a woman
I am the strength
Not weak or meek..
Not in man's world
This planet is God's creation
Strengthened by love and affection
.. Of a woman..
A daughter, sister, mother or wife

It's she who choses to go to a Man
Leaving her house..
Where she receives
Love affection and care
Of her parents.
I am not a woman in a Man's world.
Man has his world cause of the woman's sacrifice..
Does that suffice!!!??

Yes I am a woman
In this era I travel with men,
I come back from late night meetings
I also have work pressures...
Just like a man.
I drive with men..
Offer them lift..
Does that sound weird!!
I hope right in your head you heard!!
I hope on the right place you heard..

I am a woman
In this world.. Not of a Man
NO.. NOT A MAN'S WORLD
IT'S MY WORLD!!

After tiresome days
Of the corporate pressure
Spa sojourn, opt I may..
What did you HEAR??
That typical HERD!!
SPA meant for.....??

I visit my seniors office
They are MY seniors
Did you mark that!!
What did you HEAR??
MENtal abberation!!

Yes I am a woman
In a world which is not man's creation
I am a woman.. Here for few years
To enrich my soul..

I am amidst many creations
Two of which are XX
And XY...
Then My existence questioned
............. why?? Why

Upcycle Concrete

Upcycle is an interesting "GREEN" practice nowadays followed by many!! For goods and commodities its good, but in the era of shifting sands, preferences, fast evolutionary changes, the need and demand for more excitement the malls, unlike old markets, have a very short life span. A decade is quite long, then they slowly organically fade out. Ahmedabad, unlike the metros is quick silver. The life span of malls is shorter than those in metros.. few which have swept off infront of our eyes in two decades are; Gulmohar, Fun Republic, Gallops etc. Gallops though with best brands, infrastructure couldn't survive the cost concious market. Two days ago I happened to step into Iscon mega Mall, Mega like the word suggests, its gigantic. Reliance hyper market was inaugurated on 15th August 2006 by Sh Mukesh Ambani, it was his big bang entry into retail segment. In this mega structure, today hardly 10% area is functional, rest is all unused.  If Westside and Reliance are functional...

Parallel Worlds - Perspectives from Gwalior

India is a land of Gold mine for Archeologists and architects.. any region we travel, there are ballads and narratives found in every corner of the country. After various emperors who travelled and did their territory demarcation.. today the politically divided States as per the Sovereign Social Republic clearly reflect the culture and Unity in Diversity in various aspects, be it culture, space, region, food or architecture. Madhya Pradesh, today being the centre of the country is a classic example where you can find historical structures, monuments and living spaces from across eras. Mughal, Marathas, Rajputs, Sikhs, Britishers etc.  Apart from this, there is a lot of correlation found in the architecture of structures found in other states which have been built in other eras. Twin temples with elephant carvings as base Sas Bahu Temple Gwalior (vishnu temple) Sun Temple Modhera in Gujarat and Sas Bahu (as ...
