Hunger or greed...??!!!

Capturing territories through power we all have studied, learnt and witnessed in history; kings used to conquer and with that was their power portrayal. This conquest wasn’t just meant for land and kingdom but along with victory, women too were the soft target; unspoken about...

The Patriarchal societies thus took over constantly and women because of their higher EQ succumbed to the patriarchy, giving up on their own existence, rights and forgetting own worth... Centuries passed by; the Shakti forgot her own power, her WILL POWER!!

All of a sudden with education there came in a wave, a sea change, the 21st century mantra!!! WOMEN EMPOWERMENT!! Ahhh, to me very frankly this is a new marketing gimmick and sounds like a joke.

The fact is.. they have more power than men, that’s why she is addressed as Shakti. She is an embodiment of Love, she has the power to bear pains, to give selfless love and it’s because of that quality of selfless love she gives up on her name, her dressing / attire, her likes, dislikes, her friends and family, after the process of marriage. Thus, as a duty she is bound to accept all the changes and meet up with expectations.

Women are already empowered.. by stating that this marketing or a social drive sounds like a joke. Let’s speak it the other way round... I wish to put it across as GENDER SENSITIZATON.. let’s respect both genders and understand their needs and inclination as per their chromosomal placement, DNA, upbringing, the kind of environment they have been exposed to.. A better way to address and narrow down the wide gap.

Coming back to Hunger, with more money comes more power, purchasing power and the chain reaction of which is desire for more women.. Men at power positions think they can purchase women. If at some point they are unable to, then defeat is something cannot be digested; with their inability of manipulative techniques comes the word ‘Status’.. ‘Background’ and typically addressed as “aukat”; played in a very subtle way!!!

Apart from the very convenient word ‘background’ or aukat for that matter... women have also been left astray as men with more purchasing power shed off their extra bit of feathers on mistresses. At times there are also cases that they have completely left their wives and children, going behind a mistress or a slut in search of more physical pleasure, giving up on their responsibility and duty as a husband. That’s why in new era, with education and evolution  ‘Triple Talaq’ a typical patriarchal way of escapism has come under scrutiny.

Women in Bollywood also have been targeted. Praveen Babi, a very talented, bright and versatile actress, when tried to open her mouth was labelled as a schizophrenic. The highly placed and most educated ones also make their daughter a scapegoat. Sheena and Arushi are such classic examples of power targets. Nirbhaya could get justice because the opposite male did not have purchasing power!! Quite simple math!!!

The Male hunger for zar, zoru and zameen  i.e. money, women and territory can never be satiated.. “More the Merrier”

But the bottom line is, they are still empty .. seeking satiation in their own empty soul, left furthermore hollow after all those fights and conquests of non commitment, neither to a person nor self.

Neelima Dalmia recently spoke quite openly about her father’s failed marriages and relationship history. Mahesh Bhatt has confessed about it and there are many stories that can be correlated with... Ashoka, probably was at a higher level of understanding that realisation of empty conquests came to him.

Finally, what we seek is understanding, space to BE.. which itself is Love. Humans are emotional beings. We are produced out of love, acceptance is what we need, acceptance to allow energy to flow and grow.. let’s make a makeshift in our systems and thought process.

........to be contd.

The Millenial tower - Burj Al Arab  Indians have forgotten Canada and US (seems so..) especially after the setting up new Trump norms... so where do all heads turn and why? 1. Distance : Travel time from Delhi to Dubai is 3.5 hours and if we talk about Gujarat, Punjab, Kerala and Maharashtra they are geographically more towards the west, therefore the travel time to The Emirates is even lesser than any other Indian town on the extreme corner. Therefore, Dubai travel is cost effective and easily accessible. 2. Visa : Relaxed norms with consultants from both countries growing in numbers to assist Indians settle in Dubai, both for entrepreneurs and job seekers. 3. "Wife or a Whore?" Or Dust under her feet!

Lets change the narrative.. the perspective and positioning !! Well, this is one statement which after a certain age applies to women.. pls note the word "AGE"!! This was mentioned in a book reading session by Sharbari Zohra Ahmed, in her Debut Novel,   "Dust under her feet!" The  Quantico  scriptwriter moves from an International thriller, expressing a high voltage drama series for Hollywood and now back into the 1940s, where her story revolves around Yasmine Khan, the protagonist. Sharbari expresses that it was probably Yasmine Khan, the focal point chose her, cause while writing the fiction,  she could clearly go back into times and see the visuals of the yesteryears when World War II had set in.. There is a lot which Sharbari has contributed into this novel, above her body mind and soul.. fifteen years have gone into crafting the epic! What beyond? The Author has actually gone to the libraries of Kolkata, dug out their archival section, newspapers, magazines, hu...
