Public Relations Team of Ahmedabad get recognition at National level.

Growth , Success, evolution are coherent terms... this is what in a nutshell defines PRSI – Ahmedabad chapter . Under the leadership of various stalwarts, Unmesh Dixit  - National Vice President and R.K. Singh - Chairman, the chapter this year made significant moves... National PR day celebrated on 21st April 2017 was an action packed day that witnessed back to back high decibal events. Dedicated to the Armed Forces, our real heroes, the day began with a walk around NCC campus at Law Garden early morning. NCC cadets were ready in their uniforms to transmit high energy to the walk imparting an aura of discipline, dedication, determination, duty which defines our armed forces. Major General Subhash Saran, Additional Director – NCC had been the main point of connect from where the day began, understanding the importance of PR and its role for individuals, Corporate sector, Nation and Defence too.. he extended support and joined hands with PR fraternity. The evening celebrations on the same day were autographed by Daredevils of Media fraternity and Defence forces, complemented with Celebrities and RJs and performances of children which charged up the environment.  Brajesh Kumar Singh, Sageer Mehndi, Major General Subhash Saran, Wing Commander – Abhishek Matiman, Retd. Air Marshall  - P. K. Desai, Deputy Commandent – Rann Vijay Kumar Singh along with Manav Gohil, Bhakti Kubavat  and RJ Samina from Radio one shared the stage. Another significant move on the same evening was the launch of new ‘avataar’ of newsletter titled – PURVIEW, the change makers which was conceptualized and edited by Kulveen Narula. Subhojit Sen, secretary of the chapter had been the backbone of the Event throughout, from organizing to execution or taking charge on stage as an anchor with Kulveen. 

Silent workers, legends remembered.... an evening dedicated to commemorate the contribution of Late Suresh Buch as a Public Relations practitioner who in his era had taken an active participation to bring forth Public Relations service sector. On 26th May 2017 at AMA, another set of renowned members from the sector gathered. Narayan Bhatt, Senior Group Head, Adfactors PR was the keynote speaker who enlightened the audience on subject, “Public Relation Mantras for Banking and Finance Sector”. He is now both a veteran journalist and a PR professional who has earned respect in both the segments. The event was well attended by the high and mighty of the fraternity and aspiring students who are planning a career in this stream; moreover family of Suresh Buch also travelled from Bhavnagar to mark their presence.

Work.. par excellence, well demonstrated means success which is not possible without team work. This effort finally got noticed by the central team at Delhi. Deserving enough to be called upon to receive an accolade was PRSI Ahmedabad Chapter, one amidst three... Ahmedabad, Mumbai and Lucknow to been chosen by Public Relations Society of India to organise best National PR day celebrated on 21st April 17, on the theme “Salutations to the armed forces”.



29th June 2017, Annual General Meeting of Public Relations Society of India at Delhi, the chiefs – Unmesh Dixit, Vipul Shukla, RK Singh and Dilip Chauhan were felicitated for their efforts, being awarded for outstanding conceptualisation and execution of activities on National PR day. The icing on the cake was Shri Unmesh Dixit being re-elected as National Vice President – West for the next two years and Dilip Chauhan elected as Secretary Treasurer in the National Committee of PRSI for next two years.

"Wife or a Whore?" Or Dust under her feet!

Lets change the narrative.. the perspective and positioning !! Well, this is one statement which after a certain age applies to women.. pls note the word "AGE"!! This was mentioned in a book reading session by Sharbari Zohra Ahmed, in her Debut Novel,   "Dust under her feet!" The  Quantico  scriptwriter moves from an International thriller, expressing a high voltage drama series for Hollywood and now back into the 1940s, where her story revolves around Yasmine Khan, the protagonist. Sharbari expresses that it was probably Yasmine Khan, the focal point chose her, cause while writing the fiction,  she could clearly go back into times and see the visuals of the yesteryears when World War II had set in.. There is a lot which Sharbari has contributed into this novel, above her body mind and soul.. fifteen years have gone into crafting the epic! What beyond?
