Communalism Redefined: change perspectives!!

......... thoughts from the Capital city of a Secular Republic India......

Recent  setting up of a milestone on 5th August 2019,  in history of India, by scrapping Article 370 which gave Kashmir a special status dividing it from India was a bold and righteous move by Indian Government, under leadership of Narendra Modi, towards a peaceful society.

The move itself instigated entire India to debate on communal perspective which I personally believe has no grounds... And while all this was on, I happened to visit Old Fort in the Capital of India, Delhi.

Masjid built by Shershah Suri
The Old Fort, which occupies a huge piece of land in a place/ city where finding space is a challenge, I got some intriguing thoughts rather questions which might stir the souls of those who spark up divisional movements..

# Old Fort is believed to be the Old Indraprastha, land of Pandavas who were Kshatriya in origin.

#The influence of Mauraya empire is also spoken about in that space and remains are found and proven through excavations.

#16th century, Humayun, a Mughal emperor, gave another physical form to the space by brick and mortar giving shape to the Old Delhi Fort..
Humayun Gate which faces Humayun tomb
#Alas! Just a few years later, Sher Shah Suri, a Pathan, known for his contribution in History of India as an able administrator. The man who gave India the Grand Trunk Road, got control of the OLD FORT, captured the place and built a mosque in 1541 with beautiful Persian inscriptions... one of the inscription says.."As long as there are people on the earth, may this edifice be frequented and people be happy and cheerful in it."

Sher Shah Suri also constructed Sher Mahal inside the campus.
Just few years later on 13th May, 1545 Sher Shah Suri died in Bihar... away from his own Mahal.

# Whereas in 1556 Humayun died cause of a fall while getting off the steps of Sher Mahal. Quite an ironical correlation.

#Archeological survey of India is spending crores in digging out history of place excavations finding artefacts plus on the reconstruction of the space...
Rock solid huge pillars with Test of Time being reconstructed

# We are spending again huge amounts for safety of two countries which were divided in 1947 due to political reasons... Kashmir became the outcome, a place where we continued the game of terrorism and instilling fear, forgetting the beauty of nature, the essence of space and it's people.

A visit to the Old Fort in capital of Secular State, India with so called Hindu majority has preserved huge spaces of Mughal origin..

Do spaces really define humanity?

And these spaces today are inhabited by love birds who cannot find space in Urban India, what's the religion of these birds?

How many people visit the space for a real knowledge or learning?

Hence when the divide of 370 dissolves boundaries to create peace in the spaces..

What's the fight for??

Does communalism really exist or it's just a political drive?

The Kastoori of Agriculture and it's women

Saturday 22nd June 2019: Agriculture, call it a tradition, an occupation or being part of the nature and our existence with it!! Just like Kastoori or the musk is within the deer, but it keeps hunting outside, similar is with our Agriculture sector. It had always been our primary resource, but we complicated the same hunting outside, making farmers dependant on complex and manipulative processes. We all know that various climatic and financial factors with overburdened chemical dependency has made this sector gloomy, turning down into a compounded cyclical process which has now started affecting the urban too; giving the realisation to human race now to bridge the gap between the two. Farmer suicides and pesticides in food chain with increase in cancer cases is just the tip of the iceberg. Purvi Vyas, Mentor WGWLO & Babita Jain Chair person FLO With such an initiative Ficci FLO Ahmedabad on 21st June, organised an event Coordinated by Shilpa patel , Kinnery Sh
