Integration OR "Unity in Diversity" much before Independence - Sikhism is Humanity (the Majority)

Few Facts about Sikhism and Golden Temple:

Guru Granth Sahibji has extracts of many Hindu scriptures

1. It has poetry of Bhagat Ravidas – an untouchable from Chamar community, disciple of a Brahmin

2. Fareeduddin Masood, a sufi saint known as Baba Farid

3. Bhagat Kabir dohas are part of Guru Granth. Kabir's origin is known to none..
He just emerged out of the blue and merged back in it.

4. ... and Many saints, gurus and various thought leaders along with baani of ten Gurus of Sikhism.

Golden Temple: It's foundation stone was laid by a Muslim  - Hazrat Mian Mir in 1588, centuries before the construction of our Constitution, division of India and Pak and the seeded politics behind it... till date we are cutting the thorny branches of bitterness which is endlessly growing and is watered with human blood.

Fundamental rights ??? They still lie in hands of politicians.
Unity in Diversity has been talked about centuries before...

Respecting individual choices and religion too was showcased by the valiance of great poet Guru Gobind Singhji who protected the Brahmins, the Pandits. He did respect Muslims but was against oppression and dictatorship. Today, the Pandits must give him due respect as their clans have continued to exist since centuries, all because of his bravery and unflinching determination.

The construction of Harmandir Sahib was intended to build a place of worship for men and women from all walks of life and all religions to come and worship God equally.

Four Entrances are symbolic of openness to all, Love and respect all. It is also in line with the shabad written for Guru Nanak whose arrival on this planet was with

ONE MISSION i.e UNITY,
ONE RELIGION – HUMANITY!!!

“Parbraham puranbrahm kaljug andar ik dikhaya.
He preached in this dark age (Kalyug) that, Saragun (Brahm) and Nirgun (Parbrahm) are the same and identical.

Char pair dharam de, char varam ik varan karaya.
All castes, all religions are one. - Dharma was now established on its four feet and all the four castes (through fraternal feeling) were converted into one caste (of humanity).

Rana rank baraabari, peri pavna jag vartaya
Kings and his servants are equal. Thus, equating the poor with the prince, he spread the etiquette of humbly touching the feet.

Ulta khel piramm da, perahn upar sees nivaya”
Reverse is the game of the beloved, he got the egotist high heads bowed to feet.

We all are Sikhs, not a minority, we all are students of the Universe, our source, the supreme power. Learning is a constant process, a journey; so who is high or who is low? We all are disciples...

Stepping down and going to a place of worship is symbolic of modesty and humility; when going to Golden Temple... we do that!!

Students do that, we all are students...

Humility is the first stepping stone, the first lesson..

Those who love are humble, God is Love, God is humble.

"Wife or a Whore?" Or Dust under her feet!

Lets change the narrative.. the perspective and positioning !! Well, this is one statement which after a certain age applies to women.. pls note the word "AGE"!! This was mentioned in a book reading session by Sharbari Zohra Ahmed, in her Debut Novel,   "Dust under her feet!" The  Quantico  scriptwriter moves from an International thriller, expressing a high voltage drama series for Hollywood and now back into the 1940s, where her story revolves around Yasmine Khan, the protagonist. Sharbari expresses that it was probably Yasmine Khan, the focal point chose her, cause while writing the fiction,  she could clearly go back into times and see the visuals of the yesteryears when World War II had set in.. There is a lot which Sharbari has contributed into this novel, above her body mind and soul.. fifteen years have gone into crafting the epic! What beyond? The Author has actually gone to the libraries of Kolkata, dug out their archival section, newspapers, magazines, hu...

Sands to Skyscrapers: Dubai’s Architectural Marvels

A New Dawn in the Desert By: Kulveen Narula “The future belongs to those who can imagine it, design it, and execute it. It isn't something  you await, but rather create.” — H. H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum A t the turn of the millennium, while the world was celebrating the arrival of Y2K , a quiet revolution had begun brewing in the Middle East. The United Arab Emirates, particularly Dubai , was preparing to reimagine itself—not just as a city but as a symbol of human possibility.
