Philosophy is one favorite subject and traveling is something I love... Exploring architecture and nature are my primary interests.
Sunday a sudden plan to Mount Abu and then Nikita, my host in Abu asks if I am keen for Kumbalgarh in Rajasthan, a place famous for its fort. How could I have resisted when I was getting a great company too..
Finally with her bro Angad we drove down on 13th June 17. Ramada Resort we got booked, a great place to stay in. One of New properties in the region, beautifully landscaped, the pool was a priority for us so soon after checking in we just took a plunge.
Kumbalgarh fort... Was what we took off for thereafter. Main attraction of this place out of the rest of the forts in Rajasthan is it's wall and the temples dotted across in the area.
The wall is 36km long which makes it the second longest wall after The Great Wall of China. The place has 360 temples.. which takes you back to the Rajput era and the significance they gave to deities. The fort had been constructed by Maharana Kumbha.
