A 360 degree approach, sweet spicy and the lady.... a short trip on a Sunday Afternoon

Place: Saveur 360 at Venus Atlantis Pralhad Nagar, Ahmedabad

Gawliori Biryani –  a Vegetarian delicacy cooked with succulent soya chunks.

I savoured their unique culinary delight – Gwaliori Biryani. The owners hail from Gwalior so does the recipe, therefore different. This is made of Soya chunks cooked with rich Indian gravy and fresh spices, then layered with rice in a ‘handi’ which is then put in oven to let the aroma of spices infuse with rice, finally topped with fried onions and dryfruits and served with Raita.

White Chocolate Cake with hot and cold sizzle.. ie chocolate  Ice-cream on top and chocolate sauce spread all over, over a sizzling plate. This is a unique combination of both white and dark chocolate; not like those regular sizzling choco brownies. The icing on this sweet delight Savoir 360* is that the white chocolate cake is home-made and a specialty of Rigvetida’s own oven.

Rigvedita Mahurkar is a young entrepreneur, having a strong zeal and commitment level, she started her career at the age of 18 when she began helping her dad who had been a partner in a restaurant. Now the young lady owns and runs two restaurants with a team of more than 30 people. She is also into catering business. Rigvedita preferred this career over journalism or being psycho-analyst. A literature graduate, she opted for an expert course with IHM. The theoretical journey with a practical know-how and financial backing from her parents has helped her establish and successfully run Savour 360 . With a clear vision she finds owning a restaurant as both satisfying and a challenging. Very few people at this age carry so much of experience. Today she has the ability to handle Savour 360 degrees, another restaurant and her catering business confidently and successfully. Apart from the regular challenges, she mentions that staff has lot of hiccups accepting a young woman as a boss.  A 360 salute to this rocking lady boss.

Sands to Skyscrapers: Dubai’s Architectural Marvels

A New Dawn in the Desert By: Kulveen Narula “The future belongs to those who can imagine it, design it, and execute it. It isn't something  you await, but rather create.” — H. H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum A t the turn of the millennium, while the world was celebrating the arrival of Y2K , a quiet revolution had begun brewing in the Middle East. The United Arab Emirates, particularly Dubai , was preparing to reimagine itself—not just as a city but as a symbol of human possibility. From a land once known only for its sands and souks, rose a futuristic skyline that rivals the best on Earth. In just 25 years , Dubai evolved into a global epicentre of design, engineering, and luxury—where the homo sapiens are actually living on Cloud 9, giving us a strong dream etched on sand, which didn't disappear overnight but amplified year on year imparting a twinkle in the eye of millions in the world to light up a dream.  The Visionary Behind the Rise The transformation is no...
