Cleaner you....with this Immunity booster dose

Spa’s and therapies are looked upon as a great idea for relaxation and rejuvenation. The culture is picking up well with booming spa industry.. what are the reasons, one gets to know only when you visit one.

So Dravya, at Hotel Crowne Plaza, is one place, I headed on to experience and explore more... Personally I always recommend a renowned spa, as they not only focus on best of services with trained staff, but hygiene, infrastructure and various other aspects equally play an important role to rejuvenate you.

Lavish space, with a private sit out area where I was first offered an Apple infused Cranberry juice... highly soothing and relaxing when you land into the place when the summer heat at its peak!!

I opted for a BALI massage which focuses on Lymphatic drainage, a very important aspect, extremely essential for overall well being, as lymph nodes, a part of our circulatory system, store the white blood cells which are responsible for our immunity and play a very important role for our well being. A massage given by a trained masseur helps the lymph nodes to drain out stored toxins... thus not only this helps in detoxification but it is an immunity booster dose.

The therapy started with a foot ritual, sea salts are scrubbed on your foot soles after a warm dip. This not only washes the extra dust clinging to your feet, but the salts also help get rid of any negative energy in and around that space.

The body ritual is a combination of dry pressure point massage, focussing on the lymph nodes & vertebral column or the backbone which is the store house of nerves; followed by a stretching session, releasing muscular and joint tensions... and then finally goes the warm oil massage.  BALI massage is a combination of Aroma and Deep tissue massage, therefore one more reason I opted for it.

At Dravya, each room has their own steam system operational in the shower area only therefore one can opt for personalised settings in terms of temperature and the time length.. Steam plays an important role in terms of maintaining homeostasis and expelling urea and ammonia from your skin too; that’s a true way and meaning of reviving and rejuvenating, which we miss while considering it as just a beauty regime!! And of course with the shower you have to cleanse extra oil and the waste chemicals or toxins which your body releases.

Dravya, has four massage rooms and a couple room, for a romantic duo to venture out and discover another version of togetherness. There are variety of therapies to experience and regular salon services too.

Dravya, as the name suggests.. revolving around fluids, be it those you are treated with or your internal... your Auditory nerve also receives notes of water, the music played at the backdrop is that of Jaltarang which adds to your healing experience and completes the 360 degree environment.
On a Concluding note..

Prices begin from Rs. 2000/- for a full body scrub and go upto Rs. 4250/- for their full body massage ‘Signature therapy’.

So the health freaks must head on and cleanse your systems!!
