Anang Mistry!! the point we get onto, simply straight like the nail... a young creative mind, who sailing through various domains, from events, to Public Relations crafted out his own brain child. He started a voucher booklet termed as Jackpott  - The King of all deals; which in no time became one of the best selling deals book in India.. till now we must have heard of best selling books those meant for reading.

But this booklet , commencing from Gujarat, a place known for deals and discounts, "ketlu discount apis..." as a standard sentence for any sales deals... so Mr. Mistry captured this seeking of masses as a business idea itself, and in 2014 Jackpott - The King of all Deals, came into existence.

Mr. Mistry aptly fits into it therefore on one of the worlds most esteemed platform, he shared few odd jobs which he has been doing constantly apart from his day to day profession.

1. Taking charge of traffic in case of jams when cops are not there..
2. Saving injured birds and actively taking part in animal rescue
3. Regularly organizing activities for underprivileged children
4.  Educating the poor
5. Supporting startups

Besides Jackpott he also runs another brand, The Royal Quest , which focuses on travel, tourism and adventure trips. He owns five start up brands, runs Utsav Foundation and is Founder of the umbrella Purple i Group... besides he has bagged in many awards in his kitty, giving him Global recognition; well that's pretty awesome to be just termed as Big or Small!!

All this he has been able to achieve was just by one quality, "Getting out of the comfort zone and DARE!!

Upcycle Concrete

Upcycle is an interesting "GREEN" practice nowadays followed by many!! For goods and commodities its good, but in the era of shifting sands, preferences, fast evolutionary changes, the need and demand for more excitement the malls, unlike old markets, have a very short life span. A decade is quite long, then they slowly organically fade out. Ahmedabad, unlike the metros is quick silver. The life span of malls is shorter than those in metros.. few which have swept off infront of our eyes in two decades are; Gulmohar, Fun Republic, Gallops etc. Gallops though with best brands, infrastructure couldn't survive the cost concious market. Two days ago I happened to step into Iscon mega Mall, Mega like the word suggests, its gigantic. Reliance hyper market was inaugurated on 15th August 2006 by Sh Mukesh Ambani, it was his big bang entry into retail segment. In this mega structure, today hardly 10% area is functional, rest is all unused.  If Westside and Reliance are functional

Parallel Worlds - Perspectives from Gwalior

India is a land of Gold mine for Archeologists and architects.. any region we travel, there are ballads and narratives found in every corner of the country. After various emperors who travelled and did their territory demarcation.. today the politically divided States as per the Sovereign Social Republic clearly reflect the culture and Unity in Diversity in various aspects, be it culture, space, region, food or architecture. Madhya Pradesh, today being the centre of the country is a classic example where you can find historical structures, monuments and living spaces from across eras. Mughal, Marathas, Rajputs, Sikhs, Britishers etc.  Apart from this, there is a lot of correlation found in the architecture of structures found in other states which have been built in other eras. Twin temples with elephant carvings as base Sas Bahu Temple Gwalior (vishnu temple) Sun Temple Modhera in Gujarat and Sas Bahu (as in pronounced) or Sahasra Bahu in Gwalior have a lot of sim
